Check the continuity of the wiring in the little rubber boot in the door jam. They tend to fatigue and snap apart.

ARGH! My power mirrors no longer work. The motors do not appaer to be trying to move them either. The last time they operated was right before a "friend" moved the driver's side mirror manually by pushing in/out on the reflective surface. Then...nothing. The fuse is fine.
