Wow - you just named everything I do on road trips...
Let's see...
Driving while I am tired - but KNOW YOUR LIMIT
heavy metal music (c'mon, how aggressive can you get in
a westy?)
smoking (gives me something to do)
The only drugs I ever do are caffeine, and that is a
must.
No Chatting?? on a CRoss Country Trip? WHAT>?
Map- well, if my co-pilot could read one worth a damn,
I wouldn't have to look at it.
Oh, and for the record - I would bring the gun.
This list of pointers would make IMHO a VERY boring
road trip. Safe is good, but it is possible to overdo
the safety thing.... It'll give ya ulcers.
