Thanks to the list, I can now live in paranoia, just waiting for things like... 1. White steamy exhaust and disappearing coolant from the overflow tank and 2. a strong gasoline odor in the van after each fill-up Am I looking at a head gasket replacement, and is it time to replace all my fuel lines? I have an 84 westfalia, @80,000 miles. About how much to do the head gasket? What's involved? Are there "partial" jobs that are less expensive? I plan on doing the fuel line replacement this spring. Does anyone sell a complete kit, or do I need to purchase hose and clamps a la carte? Thanks in advance, Kevin 84 Westfalia 86 Mad River |
