Subject: Coolant Change
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

I'm going to change the coolant in my recently purchased '90 Vanagon Westfalia . I have the Texaco non-phosphate antifreeze. I am not sure how to drain the system. I have a Bentley manual. As I understand it, I should remove drain plug(s) from the cylinder heads and open the coolant expansion tank cap. From that point on I get a little confused. If anyone on the list can help to clarify Bentleys explanation I will appreciate the help. Gordon Bonham Now-1990 Westfalia Then-1982 Diesel Westfalia Before Then-1973 Aircooled Westfalia
