In reference to Mark's message below about "cheap" (inexpensive) H&R vanagon springs for $280:

A quick check at www.tirerack.com revealed they wanted only $265 for the same. Their Eibach springs (for cars) seem to be lower than any I've found also, as are their tire prices. I have had repeated satisfaction with their service.

My two cents, Steve Walker

If you want springs

Hey all, I just got confirmation from the vendor I buy 99% of my Scirocco parts from.

He has access to H&R springs for vanagons. They retail for $399 a set, BUT he offered me a deal for 30% off.

Yes folks, $280

They lower the van 1 to 1.5 inches, and for best results should be used with Bilstein shocks

I asked, and he confirmed that he would offer the price to anyone on the v-gon list, BUT you have to let him know you saw it on the Vanagon list, or give him my name, or whatever...

His business is Virtual World Parts, Mike Potterman, http://www.parts4vws.com mailto:kmpotter@ix.netcom.com

They aren't listed on his site, but e-mail him & he'll hook you up.

I don't represent/work for them, but they have given me EXCELLENT service on All my scirocco needs, and that's a lot of needs
