Joel, my son drives a late model King Cab 1500 series Chevy truck with metal sputtered film all over the place. And using radar detector, cell phone, and CB constantly. No problems.

Not to say it won't occur with some other configuration.

but be wary ... if you like gizmos and gadgets, like handheld walkie-talkie radios (cb or ham) or radar detectors, this metal film WILL interfere with your reception. don't know about transmitting. but i do know a radar detector doesn't work well at all behind this stuff. :) <yeah. right. like a bus goes fast enough to NEED a radar detector! ;)
