Subject: H4 & synthetic trans opinion
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Just wanted to pass on a few opinions on the H4 headlamps and synthetic gear oil thread. I've put both on Vinnie ecently and let me tell yu itmake a world of difference! The synthetic gear lube went into a recently remanufactured trans with about 4k on it. Made a world of difference on the shift quality. Highly recommend synthetic based upon the initial shift quality improvement. My mechanic did recommend using "dino" during the break in period and then making the change. The H4 head lamps are a real improvement over the 9004 extra bright type of round headlamp. Bought them from Ron@ BD and thank you Ron! I've got an SA grille on the way from a fellow listmember and can't wait to have thefill in available from the driving lights. Later this summer I'm going to run a relay andgo to 150/100 watt headlamps. Thats it for now. Buy the H4's and go to synthetic in the trans. You'll be glad you did.
