Subject: Security for laptops in a vanagon
Content-type: text/plain

Now that I've finally acquired my vanagon, I can feel a trip coming on, perhaps an extended trip. I'm wondering if anyone out there has experience traveling with a laptop in a vanagon -- from a security perspective. I'm paranoid about having it stolen, but I have heard rumors that people do take them along in their buses. It would be a great convenience for me to have the laptop along, as I use it for tracking lots of things, including expenses and van maintenance, not to mention email and Free-Cell.
