John, my understanding (and I could be wrong), is that none of the Westfalias came with auxiliary batteries. Apparently only the Weekenders came with auxiliary batteries because they were not equiped with propane to run the fridge when the engine was not running. I guess they thought that the Westfalia owners would switch to propane when they stopped and that the starter battery was enough for the other camper appliances.
