Subject: FS CA - Oakland/Berkeley ok,
how bout an 87 Syncro Adventurewagen? :)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="Windows-1252"

it's red and something is either wrong with the picture, or it has TWO sliding doors (or is right-hand drive!). see the pictures at http://www.ep.com/ep/mi.html?c=2&ad=214344 or just go to http://www.ep.com and it's one of the featured ads up top.

anyway, it's 1987 Syncro Adventurewagen, in California. asking $16,800US. sez 4wd syncro, all-wheel drive, customized adventurewagon shell, engine in very good condition, 5 speed manual, brand new cylinder heads, clutch, water pump, read <sic> drums, shoes, complete Mark VII conversion, power steering, rear window wiper/washer. interior: good condition, cherry wood cabinets/Koa Trim <sic?>, shower <HA! :) >, toilet <maybe!>, side awning <not visibile in pictures?>, outside light <?>, swivel seat, solid oak floor, bed extender, no air conditioner, extra 12v battery in aisle from auxiliary battery <?>. audio: compact disk/cassette am/fm stereo 4x20 watt amplifier w/upgraded blaupunkt speakers. body: good - small 8-10 inch dent on lower part of sliding door. color: two tone burgundy and white <camper roof is white>. excellent bumpers. 90% new tires. to test drive or view, the van is on display at: Buggy Bank 2821 Shattuck Avenue Berkeley, CA 94705 510. 848-3015 7 days a week, 10:00-6:00, last test drive at 5:00

<really interesting pictures. if the photos are not swapped, the sliding door is on the u.s. driver's side!! where the propane tank is. nah, that can't be right ... the syncro gas filler cap is in the picture! so the picture must be reversed, which means the Adventurewagen propane tank is on the right-hand side, backwards from the Westfalia.

unca joel cruising the internet at a safe speed. ;)
