Yesterday I paid for an '89 unrebuildable Vanagon that was hit in each side. Both front and rear are supposed to still look great. Only the interior seating and sliding door has been sold. I'm into this for way way more than I wanted to give, but there was an amazing kicker: it's only gone 35,000 miles original miles! That low miles 2.1 Waterboxer will go in a '91 Carot and I'll have a candidate 4 speed for my TDI pipe dream, unless I buy an exotic trans I'm considering.

Anyway, I'm soon going to part this low miles '89 like a piranha and seal parts into plastic bags. So lots of parts will soon be available, from power windows to power mirrors to door handles to ?????? you name it. I'll be renting space and aid in reducing this to a crushable shell. Before it goes that way, I'll ask List members for any Last Supper requests for those ready to dine on clean lightly used parts.
