I found a GL lever and the VW folks put it into my syncro. Think it's the same. Interesting to be on a trip and have the gear shift lever break off about 4 inches above the floor where the pin goes through. Wife shifted with pliars to the hardware store. A short piece of pipe made a loose splice to get home. Real sloppy shifting. Cheers, Tom Neal
