Thanks to all that responded to this shifter question.

My parts Syncro looks like it is going to go to my home as I now have my choice of 4 Vanagon in my area to pick parts from. One is a Wolfsburg 87, with a BIG hole in the block. I'm grabing the whole interior for $100!!! Rear facing seats, bed, table, and this guy wants $900 for the transmission? Go figure....This Van has power mirror, but no other power options? windows, or doors lock? It's very rusty, so it's not worth rebuilding.
