I just replaced my transmission. You will need to do the exact opposite of what you did to remove the used tranny. I don't understand why you would want to separate the tranny from the transaxle. The CV bolts were the hardest part. I was able to block up the engine and support the transmission on my knees in order to connect the two together. Once the transmission and engine were rejoined, I used a floor jack to raise the front of the transmission and attach the front transmission mount. All in All not too bad of a job.
