Hi,
I've got a Westy camper and I've added a little square
light in the middle of the overhead beam above the
seat. I also have the rear A/C vent that come right
out from there.  My light is nice and thin so it will
not impair the A/C blower system.
I've added a micro switch for the kids to turn the
light on and off.  I used the hot power from the
existing Westy "camping" light over the closet/table
area.  After installation I found out that it would be
nice to have the light turn on when the slidind door
opens to see at night so I will add a door jam switch
sometimes this spring and change the micro switch to a
3way.
By the way I also added a nice overhead light above
the rear view mirror.  I got that out of a Mitsubishi
Gallant with two nice map lights and a very bright
light.  The rear light came from a 81 Delorean (my
father use to prep them when they came from Ireland to
the US).
