Jim,
There's a great campground right near the base of Devil's Tower (I think
it's run by the state of Wyoming). If you'll be there during August, the
Sturgis rally will be in full swing (everyone should see this spectacle
once) Also, while in Badlands - go to the site of Wounded Knee Massacre and
be humbled.

Well, nearly have the Westy ready for launch :-)  We're planning a 3+ week
trip from Iowa through Badlands, Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Bighorns, Tetons,
Yellowstone, Glacier, Banff??.  .  Do you have any campgrounds to
recommend/avoid?  Side trips not to miss?
