Recently got my SA grille and was wondering about the durability of the mounting studs. Unlike the stock grille, these have studs with no screw to turn and release. Thus, when I put the grille on for a quick look it was trying removing the thing! I was worried that I was gonna pop one of the studs off. So, what do others with this grille do to remove the grille with the least amount of stress to the mounting studs? One can mount the driving lights by drilling the holes close to the front of the van or further rearward about 3/4" to 1" inch. So, where did you mount your driving lights? Further back in the recess or further forward in the recess? Does it really matter? Has anyone running 100watt bulbs had any trouble with heat buildup around the drivers side driving lamp melting any wires? And did you do anything interesting to route wires behind the driving lamp (again drivers side)?
