They're great for dirt road use as I find they handle obstacles better than the stock size and increase clearance a little. For me gas milage was about the same. The stock setup seems optimized for torque and drivability. With the 215/75 15's I notice the need to downshift more often on hills etc. Keep in mind that they won't fit in the front spare tire carrier. Hope this is helpful. Bruce Wilbur 87 syncro Westy |
