Gordon; I was unable to locate an A/C schematic in the Bentley for your year. On page 97.140 one is shown for 86 to 88. They also show fuse S0 feeding two EVAPORATOR fans not the radiator fan. These are the fans that push the cold air IN the van. You might check those fans first.
