I have been researching R-134A and found this quote about a competing product: Currently, GHG-X8 may be sold to the public without EPA 609 certification, just like R-134a. The EPA is proposing to restrict the sale of R-134a to certified technicians only, in the future. GHG-X8 will be restricted to certified technicians when the R-134a rule becomes effective. This is from http://www.autofrost.com Does anyone know about the proposed restriction on R-134. The reason I would consider a conversion is so I can buy R-134 over-the-counter. Paul Borghese
