Being in the VW parts business I guess I am more sensitive than most folks about this kind of thing. I have only had good reports on AVP and I even dealt with them briefly about getting an engine for my Carat Vanagon (then I had to cancel my order but that's another story). Most of the time people don't pay much attention to the "good job" posts, but when a "problem" post comes along then people get all out of sorts. Everyone makes mistakes sometimes or sells a product that comes up defective every once and a while. I think you should look at a track record of a company and if that is good then you take a problem with them as an exception and not the rule. Also if that person is willing to try to make the problem right, I think that you shouldn't forget that either. My 2 cents. I wouldn't be afraid to buy stuff from AVP at any time.
