Subject: dent pulling
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

The friendly tree removal "expert" my wife hired accidently landed a big branch on my Vanagon :-( The branch put a good sized dent both below and to the rear of the plastic engine vent grille on the back left side of the van. Has anyone had any experience pulling or hammering dents from this part of their van? The grille can obviously be removed but that doesn't look like it gives enough room to get a hammer back their. Is this accesible from inside the van without ripping apart the liner? Also, the dent below the grille goes right across the sharp crease on the body work there which looks like it will make pulling/hammering this area pretty tricky. Any advise would be greatly appreciated as long as it doesn't involve harming the tree expert. BTW I have virtually no experience with body work and want to stay away from Bondo.
