Don; I would expect a higher chance of success if the conversion was performed on a working system. Also I was under the impression the old system had to be flushed/purged of old oil. This usually included replacing the receiver/drier. I would also price the same kit at your FLAPS. Do you own or have access to gauges, vacuum pump and assorted tools and adaptors? Do you know what pressures to expect?
