Thanks Eric, you are right, I do know that equation from many years of hard experience, and I am being somewhat tounge-in-cheek with my post, it being Friday and all.

But I am going to do something, so, which conversion? Ken Wilford's Audi or the Eurospec kit are $5000+ by the time you are done, and will lay up the van for weeks if I attempt either, but are still under consideration. I have no interest in Chevy, Subaru, or any other wild ideas. What did you convert to?

So, it is back to stock for my 2.1 if I am smart. What did you do to your three? Sounds like broken rods went through the case. How "trick" did you make them?
