Subject: Sliding door popping
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Sorry to bring up an old subject. We remember postings to the list regarding a quick and inexpensive fix for what appears to be a fairly common ailment to Vanagons over time. Our slider door is popping. It does not open but the back pops which seems to indicate the latch mechanism is faulty/worn. We have gone through the archives quite a bit but in the interest of time we are hoping someone might give the quick answer again. We have also listed this for sale on a previous post and want to get it repaired a.s.a.p.

Thanks in advance for any help with this, the Butlers
