Volks:

I have an '85 Vanagon GL with a peculiar habit. After I get a few miles on a new set of tires, the wheel covers start to slowly rotate in relation to the wheel. This would be intresting physics, except that they eventually smush the valve stems, sometimes causing a leak. I've tried balancing the tires and switching the covers among the various wheels with limited sucess. Maybe the covers are just too old and they've lost their fit. Anyone else have this problem? People think I'm nuts.

Duane
