Bob...your brillance staggers me. You and joel have something here, and i think you both deserve to be able to own two vanagons each under your voucher plan. Lawns and maintaining them are a HUGE source of pollution. Not mowing them is a great way to improve the environment. Your yard gives off more oxygen and creates habitat for endangered species while the mowed ones give off co2 (greenhouse effect), among all the other noxious gasses and noises and pollution from toxic fertilizers, weed killers, pest killers and other neighbor-envy yard enhancers which wash off with the rain and pollute ground water, streams, rivers, even entire bays and the ocean...not to mention all the wasted time and anxiety mowing, weeding, trimming, etc when you could be out camping in a westy or changing head gaskets or something.
