Just saw an '87 Syncro (non-westy) for sale in my neighborhood.  The sign says "Bad paint, runs fair, $5,500".  It doesn't look to be in too bad shape, though I just drove by slow enough to read the sign.  

If anyone is interested, I can swing by and have a closer look.  I am in Santa Barbara, CA
