A LONG time ago, John Muir (correct?) wrote in the idiots' quide to the beetle (?) that the threads on Bosch plugs were more likely to match those in VW cylinder heads than those of any other spark plug. I believed it then, but in any event 5 vehicles at my house (2-2cyl boxers, 1-boxer 4, 1-inline 4, 1-V8) have 20 Bosch plugs installed. If I could find 'em, so would the string trimmer, chipper/shredder, and mower. Bosch invented electricity and fuel injection, no?
