Early Westies ( to '86, I believe) used bolts and washers.  Later versions
used the drift pin and peg arrangement.  (According to the almighty
Bentley).  Mine is an '89 and I have pins holding my arm rests to the pegs
that are screwed into the sides of the "Captains" chairs.
