Subject: canadian source for lp tank
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

I need to replace the propane tank on my '84 Westfalia because the shut off valve leaks and it is very very rusty.

Does anyone have experience with shipping charges from the Bus Depot or other U.S. vendor to Canada? I have had bad experiences with exorbitant shipping charges for costoms clearing/border crossing for other much less expensive and less heavy non Vanagon related items.

The price at the Bus Depot (US$250) is tempting. The best local price for a replacement Manchester tank I have found is Can$450.00.

Thanks

Norbert Froese Vancouver, B.C.
