Subject: Coolant Hose Failure Survey

As much as i'd like to, i cannot afford to do a preventative-maitenance replacement of all of my coolant hoses. But at nearly 10 years old and 100k miles, my van's hoses are reaching the point where failures may be expected. It would be nice to know if particular hoses routinely fail, or fail with more frequeancy than other hoses.

Please tell us about your hose failures so we can see if there are certain hoses more prone to failure than others so we can replace them even if we can't afford to replace 'em all.

steve
