Hello, Dennis: I am glad to see my highly experienced and knowledgeable friend active on the list! You perfectly right about wheel strenght. I am amazed how seriously people discuss things without the start from an elementary base. Not once I have seen cars towed or on the road side with broken aluminum wheels. Application of the wheel not designed for a specific load is really and very dangerous! Fortunately for them list members come accross guys like you or that machinist (mentioned in one of recent posts) who can give a sound advice. As an engineer myself, in machine related field since 1954, I have seen more than I would like to, accidents caused by misapplications. I am fortunate to have extensive daily contacts with my honorable teacher Hieronim Joachim and friends Andreas, Lothar - all great German mechanics from Heidelberg, Mannheim and Frankfurt. My best wishes to to Kathy and children. Ark and Sofia. Dennis Haynes wrote: > Camping World has some that can be hard wired to the battery.
