I tell ya what - I just replaced the underside
shifterboot on my scirocco, and I noticed kinda the
same thing. The new rubber boot isn't nearly as
flexible as the old one, so now I get a little bit of
resistance when I shift... kinda makes a funny noise
when I shift too...
