I have been looking for a pop-top Weekender in the Seattle area for some time now, sans success. In my final throes of desperation I have taken to calling Vanagon ads in hopes of finding a nice van, a stray pop-top assembly and a chainsaw in order to join the ranks of the Westy Hardcorps, Weekender-Wannabees. Any thoughts on the sanity of such an undertaking, whether the Vanagon body could handle the stress, and what local body shop might be willing/able to do the job. Bruce |
