I have the MSDS stainless steel brake lines on my Vanagon, so far no problems with other brake components. The brake pedal feel is much firmer under hard braking. I switched to the stainless because my original lines were cracking and looked a little rough. One warning I have heard and do believe about stainless lines is that they give less warning when they are going to fail, i.e. you can look at a rubber line and see cracks, kinks or bulges, not so on a stainless line. I'll let you guys know if my master cylinder blows up or anything.
