Marcus, We drove an Audi A4 Avant last year for 4 months while in Germany and I fell in deep lust for this engine. If VW imported the EuroVan with this engine I would have forked out the $35K even though it defies logic. We are buying an 86 Westy GL in May an I know I only have another 30-40K on the engine before he head gasket monster comes lurking. Please fill me in more if you find out about this swap. Any info if the 1.9L TDI kits that have been mentioned will work. I will be in Deutchland in Sept and may try to find this engine "cheap" (yeah right).
