I worked at a Gas station for 9 years. About every 10th propane tank that came in to be refilled had a strainge looking quick connect fitting on the propaine line. Dangerous as all hell! To easy to pop the line off without thinking it's filled with propane. Eric 86-VW4x4 vw4x4@fyi.net 72-240z Pittsburgh, PA USA 1936-Chrysler

I know, routing the Propane would be a trick but think it would fit? It would be ideal placement for space and heat direction etc. Anyone ever seen a leak proof quick disconnect type of gas fitting that could be used to connect when the door was closed (like the electrical connectors for the power locks) and release when the door opened? Or any other ideas that could be used to route propane to the sliding door? Considering the fuel usage rate it would only require a small gas line - maybe 1/4 inch? Here's a challenge for all those engineer types out there!! > Nat > |
