I spent part of the weekend searching the archives (the search engine worked and didn't time-out!) and I never found an answer... The brakes in my '89 Syncro Westy are VERY mushy/spongy. If I pump once it seems to help *slightly*. Kicking the e-brake up one notch while braking also helps *a bit*. This indicates bleeding and adjustment may help a little. What kind of difference do the stainless brake lines make to a properly adjusted system? Where is the best place to get them? Are they a worthwhile upgrade? (The ~$600 "Bullet Train" kit from MSDS seems like overkill to me...) MSDS has SST lines for about $85, and I couldn't find them on the Bus Depot web site. Any other good sources out there?
