>After this happened, the water level indicator light no > longer worked, and as expected, the 8 amp fuse on the >pillar was blown. My water level indicator on my 89 Westy has nevered worked properly since I got the van. It always shows full (green LED on), even when completly empty. I have one of those long shafts with a gray floating doughnut thingy around the shaft that is connected to the screw-on top to the water tank. This unit has no apparent physical damage and manually moving the floating doughnut does not cause any changes in the water level display. Any ideas on things to check? All other displays (battery, pilot light) on the westy cabinet seem to work properly. Thanks, Steve 89 Westy |
