So why do you think that Westfalia is the name brand? You may find a different story in Europe where there are many companies converting VW and other vans into campers. Isn't Dehler considered the best conversion over there?

Westfalia is well known here in the US, and was the official camper conversion offered by VW here. In Europe you can buy different conversions from VW, and I don't think there is a preference given to Westfalia anymore.

I find the other conversions much more interesting than the Westy since there aren't as many around.

Not trying to put down the Westies. I own one and love it, but there are other options out there.
