I got a loaf table arm from Chris Turner and installed it on the driver's side battery box. The arm is a bit too high and a bit too long, but it can be cut and rewelded. I made a table out of a piece of painted wood and the hardware to mate with the table arm was done with a plumbing flange.

It's obviously not original looking, but it works.
