When we dine in our westy, we use the main dining table. I have one of those little folding stools I sit on while my kids, or my partner, now departed to ex purgatory, sits (sat) on the upholstered main bench seat. This arrangement allows for lively face-to-face conversation and romantic gazing-into-eyes-of-prey...i mean partner.

As for the front table, i use it all the time. It is set up over the driver's seat. this allows for an extended food prep area. I also put my plat cat on it back up against the steering wheel. still plenty of food prep and counter space. this arrangement also allows use of the driver's seat as storage...stuff is kept on the seat, but under the front table and hence out of sight.

When not in use, we stow the table in the very back of the pop-top so it is out of the way except when camping when we need and use it.
