I have a seven passenger van.  
Looking around a pick'n'pull I stumbled on a westie...
I bought a table (w/ large and small arm/ and bracket) for storage I place the large table top against the wall behind the driver side with the table bottom even with the back of the seat.  And the large bracket on the floor (angled up) on the same side. The small arm stays in the bracket which also holds (secured with a lg. rubberband) paper towels for the kids. 
Ice chest stores on the floor by the driver... 
I can't wait till summer vacation.   ;0)
