Tom - Kudos!  The real problem is that during the 60's, VW vans & Harley
Hogs were the poor-folks/disenfranchised/good-for-nothing/hippie/funky
folks' main means of transportation!  Nowadays, the yuppie crowd wants
BIG bucks for either!!!  THAT has created this dichotomy amongst Vanagon
owners.  PLUS, this new yuppie bunch does NOT appreciate the Karma facet
of VW van ownership!  They cannot appreciate the FACT that one NEVER
criticizes/kicks/threatens one's VW van within earshot of said van!
Once the Karma is balanced properly amongst these new folks, things can
return to normal.
