60K and yer still on the originals? I'm glad you haven't rolled.

My '91 Westy had the originals replaced at 22K. I didn't notice a change
right away, but within a couple weeks I had to swerve at ~40 MPH and I
remember vividly being so surprise how upright the wagen stayed. I was
impressed and remember muttering a thanks to the mech that recommended the
change.

They were some generic shock used by a northwest tire shop and were still
on at 44K when I sold the wagen.
