Per, The speedo cable is turned by the left front wheel. With stock wheels and tires, a particular number of wheel revolutions will produce a certain speed indication. Since a larger tire has a larger circumference, it has to travel farther to produce a revolution. The same number of revolutions as before, but now the van is covering more ground per revolution. Therefore, the actual speed will be higher than the indicated speed. Does that help? Larry
