I just reinstalled my redone front coil springs which I had done at Mid-West Spring. I was very satisfied with their service etc... however, I wanted to pass along two words of advice. Firstly, if you don't advise them, your springs will be returned to you sandblasted to bare metal. This is fine if you don't mind painting them yourself, but for a few bucks they will powder coat them for you. Secondly, measure your springs in the installed state carefully and don't underestimate Mid-West's ability to increase their oompf. I think I did a little bit, now Queequeg looks like he is popping a perpetual wheelie. But actually that's probably OK because with two adults up front the bus sits perfectly level. Also, while I was at it, I put in a set of KYB shocks, and I think the ride was significantly improved as compared to the Gabriel shocks that were in it.
