Subject:      Gearbox oil query.

Presently I am looking for a synthetic gearbox oil. The only synth.
brand available here  is Mobilube SHC  SAE 75W-90.  The label on the
container states only that it easily supercedes GL4 and GL5   mil-l-2105
D Z F. As it costs about 15 USD a litre I would like to know if I can go
along with that. I can get a non synth GL4 rated oil from Comma.
