Subject: Ball joint question.

Listees,

Today, I bought a balljoint to replace the worn out unit at the upper left position on my '88 Syncro. I didn't get a VW unit, but a TRW. The thing that puzzles me is that, included is two hex bolts for the wishbone control arm, so far all ok. Also included was two locking nuts, but AFAIK i need only one to mount the joint to the spindle? Why is two included? Is it just a spare for the lower joint, if you need to remove the entire steering knuckle? Any opinions would be helpful. Now, you can all guess what I'll be doing this weekend
